Games:To Do
This page is dedicated to projects having to do with games. Some big, some small. Some very specific, some quite vague. The main overview of games is at this page. Below are the main priorities as of (8/24/26).
Magic
- I paid for the Spike's Academy courses. I would like to finish watching them, perhaps rewatch the ones I have already watched and write reviews of the courses.
- Finish entering my bulk boxes into archidekt
- Enter my older cards into archidekt
- Decide on an organizational scheme for my cards and then go ahead and organize them
- Try to record some of the decks I have brewed on archidekt. At least my constructed format ones if not my limited decks.
- Brew more decks.
- Try to get involved in the in-person magic scene here in Louisville.
- Make some decisions about what to do with the sealed boxes I bought.
- The Strixhaven School of Mages box I bought is set boosters, so it is probably best to just open them. (Remember to leave feedback for seller on ebay if the box is good.)
- The Jumpstart boosters are probably best to save to play with people like my nephews.
- With the rest of the sealed boxes I should decide if I am going to do solo-play tournaments with them or if I just want to open them.

Video Games
- get back to Age of Wonders 4, try to develop a style of play
- explore the Total War games in my collection
- try to write something about the principles of strategy video games, perhaps compare contrast with strategy board games
- get back to Baldur's Gate 3
- try to write something about the principles of rpg games
- video games are currently a bit lower on the priority list... but try to play as many of my video games as possible and write reviews of them.
Chess
Chess has been off my radar for a while now. Hard to tell where I am at with it. But my nephew has gotten interested lately so that might spark a revival of interest in me.
- spend some time playing with Remi
- try to make some contact with the chess playing community in Louisville, perhaps starting with the Crescent Hill Library club
Miscellaneous
The above is the main priority list at this time. But there may be some random stuff that comes up
- Investigate Decadence
- Possibly investigate geocaching in Louisville.
